Love Brigade

offers internships to chosen applicants in the following areas:

fashion design + production

pr/marketing

Position LB.NP.180.FI: FABULOUS FASHION INTERN

This position is mentored by the Fashion Assistant, Freelancers, and our Senior Designers on all things related to design, production, pricing, sourcing, and witnesses a little bit of everything else under the sun, too. Resumes/portfolios/cover letters may be submitted to

Love Brigade requires the following of our applicants for this specific position:

1. Powerful portfolio

Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)

3. Well spoken and written

4. Energetic with a willingness to do whatever it takes

5. Ambition & timeliness

6. The vision of being the support and foundation of a strong and very busy team

7. Illustrator and patternmaking experience

8. The realization that wearing comfortable shoes are a necessity - many errands come with this position!

9. Minimum of 15-20 hours per week, for a four-six month term to witness the full fashion cycle. We can work around your school schedule.

10. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and shows

Any of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:

1. CAD experience

2. Photoshop skills

3. Formal fashion training in Europe (UK or Italy)

4. Photography and styling experience (for assistance purposes)

5. Knowledge of midtown/fabric shops/suppliers

6. Online data entry, design, or programming (Dreamweaver, php store, etc)

7. Accessory design experience or training

8. Graphic design experience or training

Position LB.NP.180.MCI: MARKETING/PR INTERN

This position is mentored by our Sales and Marketing Director on all facets of fashion business, sales, marketing, PR, merchandising, and also witnesses a bit of everything else. You will also be corresponding with our vendors, clients, press, and reps. We also host and sponsor a ton of events and parties, which you will be working on as well. Love Brigade requires the following of our applicants for this specific position:

1. Marketing, Merchandising, PR, sales or advertising experience/education

2. Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)

3. Well spoken and written

4. Excellent organizational skills

5. Ambition & timeliness

6. Ready-equipped with a keen sense of off-kilter marketing

7. HTML savvy (you must be able to know your way around the internet and a small bit of coding)

8. A general knowledge of the fashion industry

9. SELF STARTER – have your own ideas and be able to manage yourself on a few projects!

10.

Minimum of 15-20 hours per week,

for a four-six month term to witness the full fashion cycle.

This includes a mandatory 10am-1pm meeting on Tuesdays with the remaining hours spread throughout the rest of the week. We can work around your schedule for the rest of the week, especially if you are in school.

11. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and shows.

Any of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:

1. Previous experience dealing directly with media, press, and buyers

2. Party and Event planning

3. A base knowledge of Love Brigade`s current and previous marketing strategies and campaigns
(Google us)

4. PR experience

5. Print Vendor, Showroom, and Media relationships

6. History in sales

7. Tradeshow experience

8. Graphic design experience or training

9. Project management experience
